Steve & Peggy Leonard: Alaska Sailing Adventures
The San Carlos Yacht Club is pleased to invite the San Carlos community to an evening with Club Members Steve and Peggy Leonard to learn about their Alaska sailing adventures!
Learn more about the logistics of preparing, provisioning, and exploring Alaska while maintaining Flyer in the spectacular anchorages of Southeast Alaska. Check out their YouTube channel @SVFlyer-Alaska for a sneak peak of their journey.
For over four years, Peggy & Steve were blue water cruising throughout Mexico's Pacific Coast and the Sea of Cortes aboard their Beneteau 47.7 sailboat, SV Flyer. Since 2018, they have enjoyed living in San Carlos on the beachfront. Seasonally they live aboard SV Flyer in the Pacific Northwest to continue pursuing their passion for sailing. In 2023, they ventured to Southeast Alaska for a 101-day sailing excursion.
